Side note/random thought: When working at the NCC I would hear multiple times, on a daily basis, variations of ‘Oh, those are the people we OWN’, in reference to the territories. Grown ass adults would say this. Often, TO THEIR CHILDREN.

Love when people bring up the Irish and Italian immigrants. My favorite part is when people like to forget to talk about what happened AFTER they got their white privileges reinstated.

And not to belittle the “suffering of past generations” of gringos, it just sort of RANKLES when the only time it’s brought up in this country is when it’s being used to tell POC to shut the fuck up.

Side note/random thought: I hate our lack of name. America’s the continent, I hate when people forget that. It is neither Mexico nor Canada’s problem that we suck at names. United States of America. That is not a name. It is a fragment sentence. This country is awesome at stealing names tho, they could have stolen some better shit than that.
